The Role:
- Based in a small classroom of 8 children, working closely with the teacher, fellow support staff and therapists.
- Providing one-to-one and small group support to help students develop communication, independence, and learning skills.
- Supporting children with emotional regulation and social skills, helping to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
- Using a range of therapeutic strategies such as PECS, Makaton, sensory play, and structured learning techniques.
- Working alongside experienced professionals, including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists - a fantastic opportunity to build experience in the field!
