Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 12 Months Fixed-Term
Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
This is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional Perl Developer to join one of our clients who is a market-leader in their space, providing their manufacturing services internationally.
This role is fully remote working, however someone who is local to Chippenham who can occasionally go into the office will be of preference.
Role
A successful candidate for my client is someone has current or previous experience developing in Perl. Someone with current experience with Perl is naturally of preference, but someone who has since moved into PHP but is willing to go back into Perl will also be considered. Due to the nature of their industry and the complex systems/processes they use, someone who has experience in Manufacturing is also desirable.
It is critical that the successfully placed developer has a strong work ethic in implementing and adhering to Coding Best Practices and Standards, both generally in software development and against individual coding languages and frameworks.
Experience
We are looking for a Perl Developer, someone who has current or previous experience with Perl who will support my clients critical legacy solutions. You will need to have a particular focus on coding best practices and standards, and someone with a background supporting manufacturing applications will be preferred.
