Contract Software Tester (C#) Position Available in Wiltshire

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in testing Control Systems products for a dynamic team based in Wiltshire? This exciting opportunity involves conducting comprehensive testing at component, software, and system levels, developing test harnesses and automation frameworks, and collaborating closely with developers to ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop independent system, software, and component tests based on requirements and designs.
- Create automation and test harnesses tailored to our products.
- Conduct code coverage and performance tests.
- Maintain detailed traceability matrices to link requirements, designs, and test cases.
- Generate clear and timely test reports using specified tools.
- Collaborate with the development team to analyze logs and address issues related to data, software, configuration, and operating systems.
- Perform Application User Interface testing and ensure compliance with CENELEC and UK rail standards.
- Support requirements analysis and work closely with the development team.

Essential Requirements:
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in C#, Gherkin, and Unit testing.
- Experience in automation testing, system integration testing, system testing, and reporting.
- Strong background in performance testing and testing interfaced applications.
- Ability to create data to facilitate testing processes.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and quick to learn.
- Good understanding of configuration management and control practices.
