Miles Recruitment have a full-time, exciting opportunity for an experienced manual machinist.
The chosen applicant will be in charge of loading, adjusting, and running vertical Webster and Bennett borers as well as horizontal borers by hand.
They will also be in charge of making sure the finished part is compared to the necessary specifications.
The chosen applicant will:
Have prior engineering work experience
Possess an understanding of and familiarity with manual machines
Read engineering drawings;
Be dependable and self-disciplined;
Be able to work independently;
Be extremely motivated
Function well in a team creating best practices
Self-assessment of work
