The RoleSeeking an enthusiastic and skilled KS1 teacher to join the team. The successful candidate will deliver dynamic, individualised lessons tailored to the needs of each child. You will be responsible for directing Teaching Assistants in the classroom, evaluating children's progress, and adapting learning strategies to ensure each child reaches their full potential. Main Responsibilities

  • Plan, teach, and evaluate lessons that meet the needs of each student.
  • Prepare engaging and inclusive resources.
  • Provide guidance and support to Teaching Assistants in the classroom.
  • Write and maintain progress reports for individual students.
  • Liaise with parents/carers to support students' development.
  • Collaborate with external professionals, including medical staff, Educational Psychologists, and Speech and Language Therapists.

Essential Criteria

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to meet the needs of students.

Desirable Criteria

  • Additional qualification(s) in SEND.
  • Previous experience working in a specialist provision.
