iRecruit4 are hiring for Welders to join our client, a bespoke fabricator based in Malmesbury. 

Benefits of the Welder Role:

  • 40 Hours Per Week- 8.00am-16.45pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • Between £12.75 and £16.33 Per Hour.
  • Full training provided in specialist roles within the company.
  • 25 Days annual holiday plus Bank holidays once permanent.
  • Ongoing Temporary to Permanent roles available
  • Onsite parking
  • Company pension once permanent
  • Discretionary profit related Bonus once permanent

Key Responsibilities for the Welder:

  • Working with different components and structures.
  • TIG and MIG Welding.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal to precise dimensions using hand tools, power tools, and machines such as shears, brakes, and presses.
  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components and products according to design specifications.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct repairs or modifications to sheet metal products as needed.
  • Follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Keep accurate records of materials used, hours worked, and tasks completed.

  • Proven experience in a Production Operative role.
  • Ability to work well in a team.
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and sheet metal machinery is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic maths skills for calculations and measurements.

Additional Information:

  • £12.75 - £16.33 per Hour starting rate,
  • 28 Days annual leave pro rata (inclusive of statutory holidays) Rising to 33 once Permanent. 
  • Full training provided.
  • 08.00 - 16.45
  • Monday to Friday
