We are seeking a fully-qualified, technical accountant with considerable experience in closing accounts within the closing team with knowledge on preparing the Comprehensive Income and Expenditure Statement and other notes to the 2024/25 accounts. The candidate must also have excellent knowledge of VAT and CIS tax.
You will be leading the preparation of Comprehensive Income and Expenditure Statement, Cash Flow Statement and associated notes i.e. EFA.
Experience of VAT accounting in a public sector setting is essential, and you must have a thorough knowledge of the Making Tax Digital claim submission process. Understanding of the CIS supplier process would be desirable.
You should be familiar with financial accounting standards and processes and will also be responsible for the bank reconciliations and will manage a financial accountant.
