Ecommerce Business Manager
  • Job Type: Full-time office based initially, will consider hybrid working arrangements once embedded into the business
  • Location: Carterton initially, moving to Chipping Campden so must be in a commutable distance of both offices

My client is seeking an Ecommerce Business Manager to strategically lead and oversee all aspects of their online store. This role is ideal for a commercially minded individual with a proven track record in online business management. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, analysing data, and optimising processes to increase revenue and drive growth. A blend of creativity, technical expertise, analytical thinking, people management, and commercial awareness is essential for this role.

The position is well suited to someone who wants to progress their career and over time become a pivotal member of their Senior Management Team.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Develop and implement an Ecommerce strategy, setting and meeting KPIs for the website.
  • Improve CVR through CRO and set revenue budgets to increase AOV using cross-selling and upselling techniques.
  • Monitor website traffic and ensure alignment with commercial goals.
  • Maintain the online store to ensure smooth operation for optimal customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and development teams to enhance the online shopping experience.
  • Oversee digital marketing campaigns, optimising SEO and SEM efforts based on data-driven insights.
  • Manage content creation, ensuring it aligns with the brand and resonates with the target audience.
  • Oversee and adjust PPC advertising campaigns to ensure performance meets business objectives.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and consumer behaviour to improve the online store’s competitiveness.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance profitability and collaborate with finance and operations teams to optimise costs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Ecommerce management.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with Ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
