Job Summary: The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding our customer base, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and strengthening relationships with key clients in the Southwest and Midlands regions. The primary focus will be on housebuilders, builders' merchants, and brick factors. This role requires a proactive and results-driven individual with a strong background in sales within the construction or building materials industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the regional housebuilders, builders' merchants, and brick factors sectors.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets.Â
- Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.Â
- Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Provide feedback to management regarding market conditions and product development opportunities.
- Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities using CRM software.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and forecasts for senior management.Â
- Travel:
- Willingness to travel within the Southwest and Midlands regions to meet with clients and attend industry events as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales role within the construction or building materials industry.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Valid UK driving license.
