Our Client is seeking an Events Sales And Marketing Assistant on an initial 4 Month contract with the possibility of an extension.

Job Purpose:
- As an Events Sales and Marketing Assistant, you will collaborate closely with our sales team to generate bookings for our three iconic venues. The core responsibility of this role revolves around creating a positive impression and delivering on our commitments. Your primary tasks will be to explore and understand potential client requirements and respond with carefully tailored information and timely quotes. You will be required to conduct site visits to promote the venues and actively identify up-selling opportunities and additional services to increase revenue.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and convert event enquiries from initial contact to confirmed bookings, ensuring all enquiries are responded to promptly within 48 hours to maximise conversion rates and secure revenue.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by actively understanding the customers' requirements, providing tailored recommendations, and delivering accurate, timely quotations to enhance booking success and satisfaction.
- Conduct engaging and informative site visits to highlight venue features and competitive advantages and convert prospective enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Administer key elements of the marketing plan, including conducting market research, preparing promotional materials, sending targeted mailshots, attending exhibitions, and evaluating the performance of campaigns to generate and convert leads.
- Implement effective upselling techniques during customer interactions, promoting additional services or premium offerings to maximise revenue potential.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in delivering exceptional customer service, with a focus on resolving queries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrable experience in administrative roles, including managing schedules, handling correspondence, and maintaining records.
- Basic financial experience, including raising invoices and resolving financial queries, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proven experience in the events industry with experience in sales and marketing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A customer-focused approach with a persuasive sales aptitude.
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles and experience.
- Proficiency in using administrative tools, such as CRM systems, Microsoft Office, databases, or event management software.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and manage client relationships.
