Job Description:

Our client is a leading F1 Motorsport engineering and manufacturing company based in Oxfordshire. 

We are recruiting for someone to join our clients team in January. The successful candidate will be responsible for the CNC Machine’s upkeep and setting.

Duties:

  • Prepare CNC spindle tool assemblies, Work Orders, fixtures, and materials for production.
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, and store CNC spindle tool assemblies post-production.
  • Identify and report damaged tooling; manage recycling for worn-out tools.
  • Maintain organized storage for tools and fixtures.
  • Raise purchase requests for special cutter tooling as needed.
  • Assess used tooling to extend tool life and minimize costs.
  • Ensure smooth communication during shift changes.
  • Communicate and liaise with machinists.

Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience within an F1 or Motorsport environment.
  • Previous experience or knowledge of cutter tooling, assemblies, processes, and methods is beneficial.
  • Self-motivated, innovative and able to work unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
  • A team player, with a positive can-do attitude and drive for continuous improvement.
