- Working closely with the Finance Director to establish best practice
- Embed and implement quality controls and process
- Support multi-jurisdictional consistency and non-finance stakeholder engagement
- Manage and oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual group financial reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Lead the consolidation process for multiple entities across different regions, integrating financial results in line with group policies.
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial reporting standards, working closely with local finance teams to adapt to evolving regulatory requirements.
- Prepare financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures, supporting the annual audit process with internal teams and external auditors.
- Identify and implement improvements in reporting processes, automation, and financial systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Oversee the use and optimization of financial reporting software and tools, supporting the integration of new systems as needed.
- Ensure high standards in data integrity and accuracy, developing and implementing controls to safeguard the integrity of financial information.
- Ensure the organization adheres to all applicable financial regulations and reporting standards, implementing robust internal controls.
- Monitor changes in regulatory environments, adapting reporting procedures and policies as needed to maintain compliance.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of [5-8] years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and analysis, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role. Previous experience in a technology or high-growth environment is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with a European led business and European regulation would be advantageous.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial reporting software (e.g. Oracle, Netsuite, Hyperion) and advanced Excel skills. Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, present insights clearly, and support strategic decision-making.
- Comfortable with constant change and fluidity as the business scales.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
