A&G Resourcing Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Food Production & Packing Operative to join our client based in Shipton-under-Wychwood.
We are looking for self-motivated and reliable candidates who would like to work for leading family-run company.
Permanent position with interviews available immediately.
Monday-Friday
14:00pm - 22:00pm
Salary £25 - £27k/year DOE
Main responsibilities will involve:
- Operate machinery safely.
- Pack product and adhere to any mixing recipes, related to the required specification.
- Test and check for a quality product release
- Update all necessary computerised data
- Complete or adhere to all Operating Procedures
- Follow routines on the packing line.
- Pay attention to print codes/labelling, correct bag identification and pallet quality.
- Accurately visually check all products being packed
- Check and maintain stocks of packaging materials to meet future requirements
- Test any product as per Operating Procedure, Store Samples
- Record all findings and maintain all designated paperwork systems
- Understand and follow all health and safety requirements and food safety standards.
Skills / experience required:
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to learn
- Previous food production experience ideal, but not essential
- Forklift licence is ideal, but not essential
- A good working knowledge of a packing plant and operating procedures is ideal
- DUE TO LOCATION OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL
