Our client, a dynamic team in the Formula 1 industry, is currently seeking a Quality Inspector - Team Leader to join their vibrant workplace in Enstone, Oxfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a prestigious automotive OEM environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all Inspectors within the team and allocate work appropriately
- Ensure team members are clear on their daily activities and provide coaching to achieve goals
- Support staff selection, performance, development, and training processes
- Inspect components using appropriate inspection techniques to department standards
- Verify material and treatment documentation is accurate and aligns with technical specifications
- Scrutinise and adjust work schedules to resolve scheduling and inspection quality issues
Job Requirements:
- Proven leadership skills and experience in developing cohesive teams
- Strong engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols
- Proficient in current department measurement technology, including CMM
- Ability to remain focused and meet strict deadlines under pressure
- Excellent organisational, communication, and attention to detail skills
- Enthusiasm for collaborative teamwork
