Job Title: Postal Delivery WorkerLocation: Chipping NortonSalary: £17.29p.h SundaysHours: 12pm to 6pm SundaysContract Type: TemporarySector: DeliveryWe are currently recruiting 2 X Postal/Parcel Delivery Workers to work on a temporary assignment, supporting Royal Mail at their Chipping Norton Delivery Office.You will be responsible for delivering both parcels and post to residential and commercial properties quickly and efficiently, delivering on a dedicated route, with completion required within a set timescale, whilst maintaining high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service. Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office and delivering parcel via foot or van.The role will be working Sunday's 12pm to 6pm on a Saturday.Please be aware that whilst this position is delivering both post on foot and parcels via van. You must have a valid UK driving licence and the ability to drive vans.You will need to pass a security vetting process and have the following skills and experience:" Hold a valid UK Driving Licence - with no more than 6 points for minor offences, No DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes (Driving licences must be registered to your current home address)" Demonstrate excellent customers service and communication skills" Upbeat and self-motivated" Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather" Good levels of fitness to meet demands of the role" Excellent organisation skills whilst being extremely methodical" Resilience and flexibility" Have the ability to work quickly and efficiently whilst adhering to company procedures and regulations" Have good knowledge of the Banbury area and surrounding villages" Previous delivery experience would be an advantageIf you would like to apply for this great opportunity, please submit your cv by pressing Click to Apply.
