Production Supervisor

Production Supervisor - NIGHT SHIFTS.
Our manufacturing client are recruiting. As a Night Shift Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in leading and supporting our night shift team. Your primary responsibilities include ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our production area, maintaining product quality, and coordinating with various departments to achieve production targets. You will need your own transport to reach this companies premises. 

Production Supervisor - Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with product quality standards and safety regulations.
- Manage process flows to meet quality, health, and safety standards.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace safety.
- Coordinate raw material intake and ensure adherence to specifications.
- Optimise labour allocation and monitor machine efficiency.
- Communicate production schedules and requirements effectively.
- Monitor and reduce production costs and waste.
- Facilitate smooth machine handovers and maintenance activities.
- Oversee team rotation and skills development through a skills matrix.
- Educate and enforce safe work practices and PPE requirements.
- Foster a motivated and respectful team environment.

Production Supervisor Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a supervisor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Forklift License and experience in lean techniques.
- Ability to conduct quality inspections and audits.
- Proficiency in monitoring and tracking production KPIs.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and team development.
