A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join a UK known food manufacturer in the Somerset Area!
With no day ever being the same the Maintenance Engineer role offers genuine long-term progression and career development within a first-class organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Suggest improvements to projects to drive efficiency, capability, and safety.
- Conducting electrical and mechanical maintenance activities across the plant.
- Changing motors, contactors, electrical control panel faults, fault finding and electrical installation
- Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Involve planned preventive maintenance activities alongside reactive maintenance tasks
- Troubleshooting relay control circuits.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- 18th/17th desirable
- Good knowledge of electrical engineering and strong mechanical and electrical trouble shooting.
- Level 3 in relevant discipline
- Food / FMCG industry experience
