Transport Compliance Supervisor

Location: Chipping Warden

Salary: £35,500 per annum, £3,000 per annum car allowance

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00
Out of hours cover on a rotating basis (1 week in 4)

Overview:

Our client is seeking a proactive and organised Transport Compliance Supervisor to ensure all transport, driver, and MHE compliance processes are followed. You will work closely with the Transport Manager to maintain high standards of safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance within the transport department.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure transport, driver, and MHE compliance processes are implemented correctly.
  • Plan and manage vehicle servicing and repairs in collaboration with maintenance providers.
  • Oversee driver defect reporting and ensure timely resolutions.
  • Monitor and update compliance systems for vehicles and drivers across contracts.
  • Assist with incident investigations and produce reports.
  • Conduct driver licence checks and manage debriefs for compliance.
  • Perform gate checks and ensure operational compliance.
  • Generate compliance reports and KPIs for management.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in transport operations and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of DVSA regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • International CPC holder.
