Location: Chipping Warden, Northamptonshire

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week (Site open 6am-7pm)

Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Igloo is recruiting Service Technicians for a leading automotive company in Chipping Warden. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established company with a national presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform PDI, repairs, and basic mechanical work.
• Rectify issues to manufacturer standards.
• Use the AssetCare system for job management.
• Complete workshop documentation and follow procedures.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
• Accurately request and issue parts.
• Work collaboratively to maintain productivity.
• Identify and report defects or failures.
• Keep tools and equipment safe and functional.
• Interpret technical service information and ensure health & safety compliance.

Requirements:

• Essential: City & Guilds 1, 2, & 3 in Motor Vehicle Studies.
• At least 3 years' workshop experience.
• Desirable: Manufacturer training (including EV/Hybrid), diagnostic skills, and willingness to continue training.
• Team player with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
