Audit Senior

Our client, a very well respected Accountancy Firm, are seeking a driven and ambitious, qualified Audit Senior to join their established and friendly team, during an exciting period of growth

As Audit Senior, you will provide audit support and assistance to a portfolio of clients across a variety of sectors, and have regular contact with clients, often visiting client sites to conduct audit activities.

With complete responsibility for planning and completing audits, you will be be technically strong with close attention to detail and have a can-do attitude to problem-solving

You should hold excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients quickly, always aiming to deliver customer service excellence. You should be a team player, able to support and develop strong relationships with your colleagues, and also a self-starter who is motivated and able to see projects through to completion promptly.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct or support pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients and maintain regular client contact to help build client relationships.
  • Design and lead audits from planning through to completion
  • Work with a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants/auditors to ensure audits are conducted to standards and on time.
  • Monitor and control job budgets ensuring that audits are completed on time and within budget
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth by retaining existing clients and building relationships with prospective clients.
  • Responsibility for the audit assignment and onsite team management.
