Management Accountant

Your new role as the Management Accountant:• Prepare end-of-month management accounts and P&L reporting• Financial analysis and commercial accounting to drive performance• Handle day to day operational accounting across all ledgers, as well as managing the credit control process• Manage VAT returns and bank/credit card postings• Hands-on processing of sales and purchase invoices• Assist with ad hoc finance tasks and projects alongside the senior finance heads• Assist in the creation and documentation of company policies and procedures• Create performance reports and identify business improvement areas• Support the Managing Director with various ad hoc tasksExperience & Skills required to apply:- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role within finance or accounting.- Strong knowledge of month-end process and ledger management principles.- Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Xero is desirable but not essential- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.- A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is preferred but not essential.- Experience with inter company chargesSalary and Benefits on offer:- A highly competitive salary- The company will match up to 10% of your pension contribution- You will be entitled to 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays- Unlimited paid annual leave (at the manager's discretion, you will be able to request additional annual leave on top of the standard 25 days)- Quarterly and annual bonuses- Gym membership- Private medical insurance- Free lunch every day- Health & Wellbeing programme Kenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a market leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
