Company details and job overview:

Kenton Black Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a business that is based in the Buckshaw Village area. This company is rapidly expanding and focusses on rewarding it's employees (see benefits below). You would join a team of 7 finance staff and have the drive and ambition to want to progress in your career. This is an exciting and progressive opportunity for a dynamic and commercially focused Candidate. A role to develop at pace to a leadership post, there is support available and a workplace to enable a bright and passionate accountant.

Your new role as the Management Accountant:

Prepare end-of-month management accounts and P&L reporting
Financial analysis and commercial accounting to drive performance
Handle day to day operational accounting across all ledgers, as well as managing the credit control process
Manage VAT returns and bank/credit card postings
Hands-on processing of sales and purchase invoices
Assist with ad hoc finance tasks and projects alongside the senior finance heads
Assist in the creation and documentation of company policies and procedures
Create performance reports and identify business improvement areas
Support the Managing Director with various ad hoc tasks

Experience & Skills required to apply:

- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role within finance or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of month-end process and ledger management principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Xero is desirable but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.
- A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is preferred but not essential.
- Experience with inter company charges
