Your New Role As Management Accountant:
In this key role in finance, office based (potentially 1 day a week hybrid longer term) reporting to the Head of Finance you will be responsible for the production of detailed and meaningful month end accounting for one of the main business units in a group setting. Working to improve process, enhance data and enable the commercial decision making, this role also provides scope to support ongoing projects across finance.
Key responsibilities
Production of monthly and quarterly management accounts ensuring accuracy and production in accordance with the timetable
Financial reporting across the division
Production of MI across finance whilst managing the ledgers
Accurate maintenance of the banking facility
Supervision and management of junior members of the team
Assistance and support during the annual audit process
Enhancing the process and procedures where appropriate whilst supporting further system improvements
A varied role, supporting the day to day financial activity this role will also support the decision making process in a commercially astute business.
Experience & Qualifications Required To Apply:
Part or fully qualified (study support is available), you shall be an experienced Management Accountant with strong technical skills in this area. Able to also remain hands-on in the ledgers, this role will support the Head of Finance to develop the processes. The ability to manage and supervise juniors is also important, with strong systems/Excel skills. Youll be comfortable working in a team environment.
