NJR Recruitment are currently working with a market leading & National Firm of Independent Financial Planners who have built up and maintained an excellent reputation. An exciting opportunity is now available for an experienced Paraplanner to join and work from their offices in Chorley on a hybrid basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the wider team in all aspects of techncial research and report writing.

They will also from time to time be responsible for other duties as delagated by the Parapalnning Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To accurately interpret the advisers client files to ascertain the clients needs and advisers instructions to translate this successfully into a Financial Planning Report.
  2. To carry out appropriate research and analysis to determine the most suitable providers, products and investment funds to meet the clients needs.
  3. To liaise with the Technical Team Leader in the first instance to ensure that they are kept up to date as to the nature of advice being passed through paraplanning.
  4. To liaise with the Compliance Team in regard to work that requires pre-sale authorisation.
  5. To prepare the report within an agreed timescale.
  6. To ensure that the Financial Planning Reports are accurate in regard to spelling and composition.
  7. To ensure that recorded data is accurate and updated on a regular basis (Paraplanning log).
  8. Commit to a Personal Development Plan and maintain all standards of performance as required by the firm.

Knowledge and Experience:
