The benefits include unlimited paid annual leave, a pension contribution of up to 10%, and quarterly / annual bonuses.Your new role as the Assistant Assistant:- Supporting in the production of monthly management accounts.- Annual management account preparation.- Cashflow management.- CIS deductions and monthly returns.- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.- Process accounts payable, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.- Prepare monthly financial reports to assist management in decision-making.- Assist with the preparation of year-end financial statements and tax returns.- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations regarding financial practices.- Utilise accounting software such as Xero, to manage financial data efficientlyExperience & Skills required to apply:- Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant or in a similar role within finance or accounting.- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and bookkeeping principles.- Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Xero is desirable but not essential- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with team members and external stakeholders.- A relevant qualification in finance or accounting is preferred but not essential.- Experience with inter company chargesSalary and Benefits on offer:- A salary of up to £35,000- The company will match up to 10% of your pension contribution- You will be entitled to 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays- Unlimited paid annual leave (at the manager's discretion, you will be able to request additional annual leave on top of the standard 25 days)- Quarterly and annual bonuses- Gym membership- Private medical insurance- Free lunch every day- Health & Wellbeing programme Kenton Black Finance operate across the UK as a market leading recruitment partner, specialising in the attraction of finance talent across both permanent and interim requirements.
