JOB TITLE: THERAPEUTIC TEAM LEADER

LOCATION: CHORLEY, LANCASHIRE

PAY RATE: 12.40 - 12.80/HOUR PLUS 50 SLEEP IN + OVERTIME & BONUSES

HOURS: TYPICALLY 150 HOURS / MONTH - MIN 10 SLEEP-INS

PSR Solutions Healthcare are delighted to be supporting & working with a residential company for children, based in Chorley, Lancashire. They are passionate about making a real difference to young people's lives and are recruiting for a Senior Care Support Worker / Team Leader.

Reporting to the Deputy Manager and assisting the Registered manager this is a great opportunity to be part of a very collaborative team, supporting young people find their place of belonging in a nurturing and therapeutic environment, to support their development and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care while maintaining dignity and respect for all children & young people, staff, other professionals and service users
  • Collaborate with the Deputy and Registered Manager to implement care plans and meet organisational standards
  • Support the application of individual and team learning and development plans in conjunction with professional and organisational requirements
  • Ensure all policies and procedures in relation to children, staff and others are fulfilled
  • Attend to all the care needs & well being of young people being looked after in the home, ensuring they are supported to reach their full potential
  • Contribute to the monitoring, evaluation and review of policies and procedures as appropriate
  • Manage and promote positive family contact for children, ensuring transportation and support when needed
  • Meet the health needs of all children by ensuring medication is administered and recorded in accordance with any prescribed requirements by GP / hospital / medical practitioner
  • Assist in preparing for audits, inspections, and reviews, maintaining excellent care standards

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in a residential children's setting or similar environment
  • NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People Workforce is advantageous
  • Team Leader / Supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid UK Driving Licence
