Accounts Payable Assistant

RG Consultancy are delighted to be working with an excellent manufacturing company who are looking to add an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to their team based in Chorley.

This Accounts Payable Assistant role is a newly created role and is offered on a full time basis.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this Accounts Payable Assistant role would be responsible for:

• Processing high volume of invoices for 2 companies
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• GRN matching
• Working with foreign currency invoices
• Generating BACS payments
• Assist treasury with cashflow forecasting (reporting on invoice schedule/large invoices)
• Assisting with bank reconciliations
• As-hoc finance tasks as required

This role is a key part of the accounts team and building strong relationships with various stakeholders is vital to ensure queries and payments are actioned in a timely manner. The company are currently undertaking a project to implement a new software across all the business and this role would be involved in ensuring that goes smoothly and as expected.
