Axon Moore is seeking a Commercial Analyst for a PE-backed business in Chorley, offering a salary of £40,000 to £45,000.
The role involves supporting the integration of new business acquisitions through tasks such as reviewing bids, performing bid analysis, and collaborating with internal teams.
Candidates should ideally be CIMA studiers/qualified or possess a relevant QS or commercial management qualification.
The position requires some ad hoc travel and is designed to provide significant exposure to senior stakeholders, enhancing the candidate's career opportunities.
A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience is preferred for this role.

Axon Moore are exclusively partnering with an excellent PE Backed business in Chorley to recruit a new Commercial Analyst. This is an excellent opening to join a high growth brand in which you will be supporting the successful integration of new business acquisitions.Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Reviewing new bids and framework tenders; summarising the commercial opportunity and building recommendations
Perform retrospective bid analysis
Collaborate with the relevant internal teams and external stakeholders to build the correct assumptions, relevant costings as individual bids evolve through to final submission
Review framework terms and conditions, ensuring alignment to the group’s governance expectations
Highlighting any commercial risk and ensuring that it is mitigated as part of the overall bid response
Assist with the continuous review of job rates, ensuring that it is consistent across the business, comprehensive and costed in-line with market expectation
Preparing commercial review submission presentations
You will assist in the handover of the tender information to the relevant commercial representative
Compile and analyse financial reports highlighting discrepancies vs. bid assumptions and project profitability.

Streamlining and standardising processes for future acquisitions
