A leading fabrication business, supplying specialist equipment to the nuclear industry, is seeking a skilled Requirements Engineer. This position plays a critical role in ensuring project specifications are accurately defined, managed, and delivered in compliance with industry regulations and stakeholder expectations throughout the engineering lifecycle.
This opportunity would suit a detail-oriented engineering professional with a strong foundation in systems or requirements engineering, particularly within highly regulated industries such as nuclear, defence, or aerospace.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyse and define project and system requirements.
- Develop and maintain clear, traceable technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support verification and validation activities to ensure all deliverables meet defined requirements.
- Manage changes to project scope and requirements, assessing impacts and communicating updates.
- Ensure alignment with nuclear industry standards and regulations, particularly relating to steel fabrication.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Requirements Engineer, or Systems Engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of Design & Systems within complex Engineering & Manufacturing
- Eligibility for SC Clearance (British National or 5 years+ in UK)

Contract
12-month duration
Pay: 45 - 55 per hour LTD (subject to CEST test / IR35 determination)
Working Hours: 4 day working week! Flexible Hours & Hybrid.
