Business Development Manager - Mortgages / Mortgage Intermediary Coordinator required by leading financial services company, with ambitious and exciting plans to enhance its operation and distribution channels, to act as the main telephone contact for mortgage intermediaries and other 3rd party suppliers. Working alongside the underwriting team, you will manage intermediary enquiries via telephone and actively manage the workflow and pipeline to ensure services levels are met.

Mortgage Intermediary Coordinator- Key skills:
We’re considering candidates with a basic understanding of the mortgage market and are seeking an opportunity to develop a career into underwriting or telephone business development in this sector
- CeMap qualified or industry equivalent (desirable)
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience of Microsoft packages including word & excel
- Ability to track and analyse data
- Ability to independently manage multiple tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Willing to travel as and when required
Mortgage Intermediary Coordinator- Main responsibilities:
- Act as the main telephone contact for our intermediaries
- Manage broker queries from the mailboxes as allocated
- Manage the workflow of Dips and Apps received from Broker online and the mailboxes onto the whiteboard
- Request missing documents from the Brokers if packages are not complete.
- Managing the inflow of additional documents as they are received and place with application.
- Track, monitor and report accurate business activity levels
- Provide support to the Underwriting team in their relationships with mortgage intermediaries.
- Maintain professional business relationships with BDMs, mortgage introducers and external contacts, providing information and guidance when required
