Business Development Manager: Chorley: Permanent: £55k plus bonus and exceptional benefits Axon Moore is proud to be partnering with one of Lancashire’s most exciting employers in a time of rapid growth and as such this role comes with so many opportunities for progression, exciting times ahead.As a key player in the Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient handling of key clients on a daily basis as well as looking at new avenues to generate business and forge long standing relationships to push the business forward.Key Responsibilities: ·       Lead and nurture a high-performing team in collaboration with the Warehouse Operations Manager ·       Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, suppliers, carriers and transport providers to foster and maintain lasting relationships·       Generate new business opportunities in a strategic manner to drive the growth of the business·       Create and develop sales plans and forecast targets and growth projections along side the MD·       Identify market opportunities through meetings, networking and any other channelsRequirements: ·       Exceptional customer service and organisational skills·       Keen attention to detail and proficiency in IT·       Familiarity with API, SaaS, and ERP platforms is advantageous This position offers significant room for professional development and growth for the right candidate with a view to a directorship in the near future.
