Job Description
They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Turner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components to precise specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC turning machines, ensuring the correct tooling and settings are used.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to produce accurate components.
Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
Collaborate with the production team to optimise efficiency and workflow.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
Qualifications and Experience
Proven experience as a CNC Turner in a precision engineering environment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
Strong understanding of CNC programming and operation.
Experience with various CNC controls and software.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The CNC Turner must have a good working knowledge of Fanuc turn and turn/mill controls.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeship.
