Commercial Director - Adult Social Care

Compass Associates are proud to be working in partnership with an adult social care charity located in the Northwest. They provide quality and innovative support to over 250 people across Greater Manchester ad Lancashire to live independent in their homes. Services offered include supported living, residential, nursing and respite care, supporting people with complex health and social care needs, dementia support as well as vocational enterprises and transitional services.

They have recently identified a need in the business and are now actively seeking an experienced Commercial Director to join them. This is a brand-new role, reporting directly into the CEO working alongside the SLT overseeing business development, finance and assets. As Commercial Director, you will have 3 direct reports - Head of Business Development, Head of finance and Head of Assets.

You will focus on the growth and sustainability of the company focussing on the future as opposed to the here and now. This is ideal for a forward-thinking individual who is able to identify existing areas where profit can be made as the company already have a number of social enterprises they are keen to turn a viable commercial entities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience working in social care with a good understanding of how these services are commissioned
  • Proven experience working in a senior role focussing on business development and/or finance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels
