Randstad Education is currently seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants with experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage for schools in the Chorley area, with opportunities for an immediate start.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare resources and activities for the whole class, small groups, and 1:1 support.
• Provide feedback to pupils regarding progress and achievement under the teacher's guidance.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to organise appropriate activities.
• Liaise with other professionals such as teachers, TAs, and specialist support staff.
• Work closely with other LSAs and support staff.
• Provide support to classes, small groups, and on a one-to-one basis.
• Monitor and track the development of pupils and support their personal development and confidence.

Essential Requirements:

• Experience working with young people.
• Comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
• Ability to engage with and build rapport with young people.
• Creative, proactive, and flexible in supporting style.
• Experience with SEN or knowledge of learning difficulties.
• TA qualification.
