EYFS TA - Chorley:

Prospero Teaching are looking for a teaching assistant with experience in early years to join one of our excellent schools near to Chorley. This is a full time position to start in January.

Position Details:

  • Location: Chorley
  • Position: EYFS TA
  • Hours: 9am-3:45pm, Mon-Fri, depending on experience
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: Jan 2025
  • End date: Ongoing

The Role:

  • Assist in planning and delivering tailored learning activities for children.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, both in and out of the classroom.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster social and emotional development through positive interactions and activities.
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.

Experience, Training and Qualifications

  • Calming mannerisms in challenging situations.
  • Strong behaviour management skills while creating a fun learning environment.
  • Previous experience supporting Early Years
  • Relevant qualification in Early education

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
