We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team, working across pre-school and reception classes. This role is essential for providing continuity and support during a maternity leave period, starting in early March. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) settings, demonstrating a passion for early childhood education.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist in the delivery of daily activities and lessons across pre-school and reception classes.
- Support the emotional and educational needs of young children, helping to foster an environment conducive to early learning.
- Work closely with the lead teacher to implement curriculum and monitor the progress of children.
- Help prepare materials and classrooms for class activities.
- Engage with children in a way that promotes enthusiasm and learning.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children under your care.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an EYFS setting is essential.
- Strong understanding of the developmental milestones of young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A patient, caring, and creative personality.
- Enhanced DBS check will be required.
