About the Role:We are looking for an experienced Care Team Leader (Nights) to join the dedicated team at a luxury care home in Chorley. This role offers an opportunity to lead and manage the service during night shifts, acting as the main point of contact for senior carers and care assistants. You will be responsible for ensuring detailed and effective handovers are completed, supervising staff, providing support and training, and maintaining high standards of care. This position is ideal for someone who excels at building strong relationships with residents and their families and can model compassionate, high-quality care.

Experience Required:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Significant experience in elderly and dementia care.
  • Proven experience in managing and leading a team, including conducting supervisions and appraisals.
  • Knowledge of medication management and handling incoming medication.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the night team, providing guidance, positive reinforcement, and being a role model.
  • Oversee the night rota to ensure adequate staffing levels and skill mix.
  • Facilitate nightly team meetings and address any issues that arise promptly.
  • Maintain effective communication with the home’s management team to resolve concerns efficiently.
