    Responsibilities and duties
    Reporting to the Principle Mechanical Engineer you will:

    • Lead the creation of 3D models and drawings that incorporate safety, operational, and maintenance needs.
    • Develop robust engineering design documentation to support project requirements.
    • Ensure that all designs and engineering activities conform to applicable standards, including UKCA/CE marking requirements, and comply with safety regulations such as LOLER, PUWER, and CDM.
    • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including procurement and testing teams, to ensure that project specifications and timelines are met.
    • Provide insights and feedback to improve engineering processes.

    Professional qualifications

    We are looking for someone with the following:

    • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline
    • Proven experience in engineering design development within nuclear or a similarly regulated environment.
    • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and technical standards relevant to engineering design.
