About the role:
Astute's Nuclear team are currently working with a leading business in the Nuclear sector, who are currently recruiting for an EC&I Engineer to work on a long term contract basis, outside IR35.
The EC&I Engineer role comes with an hourly rate of 45- 55 per hour.
Key skills:
- Design fundamentals
- Application of Formulae and Calculations
- Basic optioneering and equipment selection
- Environmental impact to installation and equipment, for example IP Ratings and Special Locations
- General understanding of EC&I drawings, both reading and production of Block, Line, Layout, Schematic, Wiring, Termination etc
- Fundamentals of Safety Systems, Interlocks and of designing to 'Fail Safe'
- Control methodology

- Chorley(hybrid)
