Delighted to be once more working with this market leading leisure business based in Lancashire, who are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. You will have specific responsibility over the following:

  • Producing and review of management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and P&L reconciliations.

  • Completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Conducting aged debtor and creditor meetings, resolving any issues promptly.

  • Supporting the production of management accounts pack.

  • Investigating significant variances against budget/forecast and report findings.

  • Identifying risks and opportunities affecting P&L and balance sheet forecasts.

  • Liaising with auditors and providing necessary information.

  • Handling queries efficiently and proposing improvements to inefficient processes.

  • Overseeing VAT and other regulatory returns and manage inter company reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will fit the following criteria:

  • CIMA, ACCA, or AAT qualified.

  • 3+ years experience in a finance department, ideally in a high-volume business.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and Excel skills.

  • Experience with Sage and working with auditors.

  • Positive attitude and attention to detail.

  • Proven experience in producing management accounts and working within a team.
