Our client, based in Chorley, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their close-knit team of three. With exciting growth plans on the horizon, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to step in and play a key role in driving the financial operations forward.

Key Responsibilities:

Take accounts to trial balance.
Manage the purchase and sales ledger functions.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
Supervise one member of staff
Handle VAT returns and ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
Oversee credit control and manage outstanding payments effectively.
Assist with ad hoc financial tasks to support the business’s growth objectives.

What We’re Looking For:

Ideally AAT qualified or with equivalent experience.
Proven ability to handle end-to-end accounts, including trial balance, VAT, and reconciliations.
Strong experience in purchase and sales ledger management.
Excellent Excel skills and experience with bespoke accounting systems.
A proactive, team-oriented individual who is comfortable working within a small, collaborative team.
Hybrid working model available for the right candidate.

What’s On Offer:

A salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience.
Hybrid working arrangement.
Monday to Friday working hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM).
