Finance Manager | Chorley (1 day WFH) | £40-50k | 12 month FTC

Talentedge is supporting an established manufacturer in the Chorley area that is looking to add a Finance Manager to their team for an initial 12-month fixed term contract.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring that financial records are accurate, financial policies are adhered to, and financial reports are generated in a timely and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports including forecasting.
  • Oversee the sales and purchase ledger function including staff development.
  • Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Assisting the implementation of processes, controls and timetables.
  • Aligning reporting to business needs via SAP.
  • Analyse financial data, trends, and performance metrics to guide business strategy.
  • Assessing risk management.
  • Support audit processes and work with external auditors.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and financial optimisation.
