As the Room Leader, you will have the opportunity to shape the daily experiences of the children in your care, ensuring they are provided with the highest quality of learning and play in a safe and supportive setting. You'll be a key player in fostering their social, emotional, and educational development while also guiding and mentoring your team to deliver exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a room within the nursery, ensuring the environment is engaging, safe, and inclusive.
  • Plan and implement fun and educational activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with both the children and their families.
  • Mentor and support nursery practitioners, ensuring high standards of care and development.
  • Ensure all safeguarding procedures are followed, maintaining the health, safety, and well-being of the children.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
  • Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Passionate about providing exceptional care and learning experiences for children.
