The Role:We are looking for a skilled Senior Care Assistant to join the team and provide outstanding care and leadership during night shifts. This position requires a commitment to high standards, safety, and mentorship, acting as a guiding presence for care assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor & Support: Guide and support care assistants in their roles, ensuring the highest standard of care.
  • Care Plans & Risk Assessments: Develop and regularly update individual care plans and perform risk assessments.
  • Professional Standards: Adhere to health and social care standards, promoting best practices across all aspects of care.
  • Safeguarding: Be vigilant in safeguarding protocols, ensuring the safety and dignity of all residents.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of care planning, risk assessment, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Compassionate, team-oriented, and reliable with a commitment to excellence in care.
  • 1 year experience working in a care home setting
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care
