.Net Software Developer

Chorley, Lancashire - This role is onsite, 5 days a week.

My client is looking for a software developer to facilitate the improvement of their in house developed applications.

You will join an existing team working on new functionality and maintaining / improving existing features. This encompasses both front and back end technologies for web and mobile, plus API and service architecture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working within the development team to produce applications across web, mobile and server.
  • Writing code that adheres to our development standards and applications that adhere to our security guidelines.
  • Actively participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Peer reviewing code as part of a team.
  • Maintaining existing software and assisting with the infrastructure team as part of a DevOps environment and communicating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Working with the Reporting and Analysis teams to ensure that our databases and reports are performing correctly with new functional development.
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders throughout the life cycle from requirements to post go live.



SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • .NET / NET Framework - C#, Entity Framework, MVC, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS
  • Azure DevOps using Git for source control
  • Strong drive for success.


Desirable

  • Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL).
  • SQL Server Reporting Services.
  • Microsoft Power BI.
