We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a leader in the manufacturing, designing and installation of bespoke products for a wide range of sectors, based in Chorley.

This is a business that is going through significant growth, with a number of exciting projects already underway with more in the pipeline too.

What’s on offer?

£17.71 per hour
Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm / Friday 7:30am – 12:30pm
25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)
Yearly pay review
Travel expenses paid for

What will you be doing as a Mechanical Fitter?

Working on a variety of exciting projects across multiple sectors
Assembling and fitting various mechanical parts & components
Stripping and repairing parts
Reading from engineering drawings
Working on a variety of products such as motor, gearboxes, pumps and valves
Performing routine quality checks
Performing final finishing/polishing

What do you need?

Mechanical fitting experience
Machine building experience
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent (desirable)
Toolmaking experience (desirable)
UK Driving license (desirable)
