Due to a vacancy within the team, they are now seeking the addition of a talented and motivated Town Planner to join their dedicated team in Chorley. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for urban planning and development to contribute to a range of diverse projects and further their career in a growing, forward-thinking organisation.

Job Description:
You will play a key role in supporting the planning process for various development projects, from initial concept to implementation. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that developments are both commercially viable and aligned with planning policies. You will be working in close collaboration with internal teams, local authorities, and stakeholders to achieve successful planning outcomes.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • A degree in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI accredited preferred).
  • Previous experience in town planning, ideally with a focus on development projects.
  • A solid understanding of planning policy, development management, and statutory processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) or working towards it is desirable.
