Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Strategic Planner to join a dynamic team and report directly to the Strategic Land Manager. This is a great opportunity for a professional with a minimum of 2 years' experience in strategic land planning, either from a Local Planning Authority (LPA) or private sector background. The ideal candidate will have a passion for land acquisition, development planning, and contributing to large-scale projects across the North West, North East, and Cumbria regions.

Key Responsibilities:
·Assist in identifying and securing strategic land opportunities for development.
·Support the land team in managing and progressing planning applications.
·Work closely with internal stakeholders to drive the strategic land acquisition process.
·Build and maintain relationships with external parties, including local authorities and landowners.
·Undertake site appraisals and feasibility assessments.
·Ensure projects adhere to planning regulations and timelines.

Key Requirements:
·Minimum of 2 years' experience in a strategic land role, either from an LPA or private sector background.
·A degree in Planning or a related Built Environment field (accredited by the RTPI or similar body is preferred, but not essential).
·Chartered status is desirable, but not essential.
·Full driving license and willingness to travel for site visits and meetings.
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
·Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
