This is a full-time, office-based role with a highly valued and leading law firm in Lancashire, known for its supportive and dynamic team environment. We are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join the expanding team in Chorley as a result of ongoing expansion. This is a great chance for you to advance your career at a cutting-edge, modern firm if you have two or more years of experience or comparable experience addressing a range of conveyancing cases.

About the role:

In this role, you will support a Solicitor managing their caseload of a broad range of conveyancing work, including freehold/leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages. You will progress files and work closely with the Conveyancer to complete tasks such as AML checks and conducting mortgage reports. In previous roles, you will have become familiar with drafting legal document packs and submitting SDLT forms.

About you:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Conveyancing Assistant in a Residential Conveyancing Department
  • Strong administrative skills gained in an office environment, with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience working with a case management system
  • A positive and collaborative attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
  • Highly organised and able to manage tasks with efficiency
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills 

Salary will be dependent upon experience.
