Job Title: Associate/Senior/Principal EC&I Engineers OUTSIDE IR35

Location: Chorley

Working Hours: 4 days a week Mon - Thurs, 9.5 hours per day with Hybrid working patterns

Contract roles available: at various levels EC&I Engineer, Senior EC&I Engineer and Principal Engineer.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) Engineers at all levels OUTSIDE IR35 to join a multi-disciplinary design team. Tasks will include design, documentation, and testing, either independently or collaboratively, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce engineering drawings such as block cable diagrams, schematic diagrams, and cable routing designs.
  • Develop engineering documentation, including operation and maintenance manuals and test documentation.
  • Carry out engineering calculations, including cable and safety instrumented system calculations.
  • Design and develop software for PLC and SCADA control systems.
  • Conduct trials and testing, ensuring all activities adhere to project specifications and safety standards.

In return you'll receive a rate between 38 Ltd - 60 Ltd per hour depending upon experience. Nuclear or Defence background essential.
